• Codes and Standards (1510) - 45 hours. 
• Fire Prevention Practices (1505) - 45 hours.
• Private Fire Protection Systems I (1540) - 45 hours.
• Building Construction for the Fire Service (2120) - 45 hours.
• Construction Documents and Plans Review (2521) - 45 hours.

Fire Inspector I Certificate is valid for four years and must be renewed by completing a minimum of 54 hours of CEUs.

• Fire Chemistry (2111) - 45 hours. 
• Private Fire Protection Systems II (2541) - 45 hours.
• Ethical and Legal Issues for the Fire Service (2770) - 45 hours.

Fire Inspector II Certificate is valid for four years and must be renewed by completing a minimum of 54 hours of CEUs.

• Must possess an associate's college degree or higher.
• Minimum of six years of experience as a full-time Fire Inspector.
• Complete the course Evaluating Performance-Based Designs - (16531)
• Hold the following NFPA Certificate - Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS).

Fire Inspector III Certificate is valid for four years and must be renewed by completing a minimum of 54 hours of CEUs.

• Arson Investigation (407) - 45 hours.
• Latent Investigation (2630) - 45 hours.
• Post-Blast Investigation (406) - 45 hours.
• Legal Issues for Investigators (2670) - 45 hours.

• Fire Investigation: Origin and Cause (2610) - 45 hours.
• Building Construction for the Fire Service (2120) - 45 hours.

This is a restricted enrollment program.  Students must be a law enforcement officer, crime scene technician, a certified firefighter or fire inspector in the State of Florida.

• Requires six years of fire service experience with an organized fire department.
• Fire Service Course Delivery (1740) - 45 hours.

Fire Service Instructor I Certificate is valid for four years and must be renewed by completing a minimum of 40 hours of CEUs.

• Requires six years of fire service experience with an organized fire department.
• Associate's college degree or higher.
• Fire Service Course Delivery (1740) - 45 hours.
• Fire Service Course Design (2741) - 45 hours.

Fire Service Instructor II Certificate is valid for four years and must be renewed by completing a minimum of 40 hours of CEUs.

• Requires six years of fire service experience with an organized fire department.
• Bachelor's college degree or higher.
• Fire Service Course Delivery (1740) - 45 hours.
• Fire Service Course Design (2741) - 45 hours.
• Fire Training Manager (16701) - 24 hours.

Fire Service Instructor III Certificate is valid for four years and must be renewed by completing a minimum of 40 hours of CEUs.

• Students must possess a Florida Firefighter Certificate of Compliance.
